Some of their newer games like the Super Stacksseries including Black Widow and Golden Goddess are OK, but they don't really garb you like a lot of thenew games these days.

You’ll find a big contrast in the types of winning symbols in this game. First there are brightly coloured gems, which are bold and shiny. There are also classical paintings from Da Vinci, including the iconic Mona Lisa. The remaining symbols are logos and bonus signs. Sounds are also mixed. These range from computer-generated noises, through to classical music segments for wins. Though it sounds odd in writing, the sounds and visual contrasts work well together – nobody could argue that this series of slots is not unique.
The free spins round in this game is worth waiting for, triggering extra win lines which cover both sets of reels. If you run well, the retriggers for this will see you walk away with a big prize.
You are effectively playing 2 sets of reels at the same time with this slot. Instead of the 20 lines of the original version, you are playing 40. With so many more win-lines, the tumbling wins really comes into its own during this feature. You’ll find some spins creating multiple cascades. These also have a habit of delivering more bonus symbols to the screen, which add more free spins to your bonus feature. This can be up to 15 more (5 symbols and the max amount). Effectively, this is like playing a 5 reel slot with 60 lines and combinations working in a lot of different ways. It is hard not to accumulate a decent win from this bonus round, though of course – your mileage may vary.
Unlike the original game, the gems and paintings do not change for the bonus, though you’ll find the background music does go up an intensity level.
Many slot sequels (much like films) are not as good as the original – Da Vinci Diamonds Dual Play is an exception. Having two reels on top of one another makes this feel a lot more like the gem-games on which the slot is based. There are a lot more tumbles, especially when you get some good wins in the lower of the two sets of reels.The bonus round is not too frequent, and only starts with 6 spins. Those minor gripes aside, the extra lines make a lot more wins – which explode to give you even more opportunities. If you are going to walk away with a big win from this game, it would almost certainly be via some free spins on the combined reels with retriggers.
